Reba Jean Russell

Services for Reba Jean Russell, 63, of Jacksonville, Texas, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10 at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Cole officiating under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Meador Cemetery.

Mrs. Russell died Jan. 6 at a local hospital. She was born Dec. 18, 1943, in Morton, Texas. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Dean (Robo) Butler; mother, Mary Esmer Schultz; and brother, Robert Williams.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Lee Russell of Jacksonville; son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Daina Butler of Bullard; daughter, Theresa Brown of Jacksonville; daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and Mike Berry of Jacksonville, Cammie and Mike Ramsey of Maydelle and Jody and Travis Edwards of Rusk; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Kitty Williams of Petersburg, North Dakota; sister, Darlis Sandefer of Deerville, Kansas; and 11 beloved grandchildren.

Reba was truly loved by all and will be greatly missed by all family and friends. We love you.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9 at the funeral home.
