Everett L. “Bo” Robinson
Services for Everett L. “Bo” Robinson, 71, of Jacksonville will be at 2
p.m., today, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. F.E. Kennedy,
the Rev. Mitchell McRight and the Rev. Benny Brooks officiating, under
the direction of Thompson Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Burial will be at Providence Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson died Thursday, March 1, 2007, at Legacy Hospice in Tyler,
after an extended illness. He was born July 24, 1935, in Jacksonville.
He lived in Jacksonville all his life except for seven and a half years
while in the USAF. He drove transport trucks for several years and
eventually went to work and retired with TDCJ.
He was a member of Abundant Life Tabernacle in Jacksonville.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine, father, Everett
(Buddy) daughter, Kathy and granddaughter, Angelica.
Survivors include his spouse of 53 years, Barbara (Loretta) Robinson of
Jacksonville; daughter Tonya Helmig and husband, Wayne of Payne Springs;
son, Jimmy Robinson of Jacksonville; mother-in-law, Vera White of
Jacksonville; brothers-in-law, Larry White and Elvis White and wives, of
Jacksonville; special friends, John and Gracie Woods of Maydelle;
sister, Mary Ann Forrester, and brother, Scooter Forrester of
Jacksonville; step-mother, Evelyn Leonard of Alto; four grandchildren,
three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Billy Hershiser, Mark Smith, Danny Crouch, Jim Carlile,
Philip Watson and Brad Crawford.
Visitation was 6-8 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.
