Frankie Pippin
Services for Frankie Pippin, 102, of Jacksonville, will be at 2 p.m.,
Monday, March 26, 2007, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James
Blaylock and the Rev. Wayne Thompson officiating, under the direction of
Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Burial will be at Meador Cemetery.
Mrs. Pippin died March 23, 2007, in Jacksonville. She was born March 15,
1905, in the Turney Community, near Jacksonville. She was a retired
employee of Peacock Crate Factory and was a homemaker. She was a member
of Corinth Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bonnie Pippin; daughter, Joyce
Nell Sanford; and grandson, Larry Sanford.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Nelda Pippin of
Jacksonville; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lynn and Homer Higgins of
Jacksonville; Nancy and Wayne Thompson of Jacksonville; Patsy and Jerry
Wood of Jacksonville; and grandchildren, Brent Thompson, David Pippin,
Don Littlejohn, Jay Sanford, Michael Pippin, Chris Wood, Janis Reed,
Donna Littlejohn and Susan Wood.
Pallbearers include Brent Thompson, David Pippin, Don Littlejohn, Jay
Sanford, Michael Pippin and Chris Wood.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., today, at the funeral home.
