Kenneth Hilton

Services for Kenneth Hilton, 68, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Wayne Thompson officiating, under the direction of Autry Funeral Home of Jacksonville.
Burial will be at Henry Cemetery in Gallatin.

Mr. Hilton died Sunday, Jan. 13 in Jacksonville. He was born Sept. 21, 1938 in Jacksonville.

Mr. Hilton was a retired truck driver with 35 years of service, many with Tyler Pipe. He was a Baptist and a member of Jacksonville Masonic Lodge 108 AF&AM, Sharon Temple of Tyler and the Order of the Scottish Rite, Waco.

He is survived by his wife Nelda Hilton of Jacksonville; two sons, Mike Hilton and Curtis Hilton of Jacksonville; three grandchildren; step granddaughter Valerie Merchant and her husband John Merchant of Rusk and three step great grandchildren, Josie Merchant, Seth Merchants and Ella Merchant.

Pallbearers are Joe Masters, Lawrence Ellis, Don Davis, Bo Bollinger, Darrell Moore and Ray Allen. Honorary pallbearers are William Hilton, Karl McElvain, Luther Cook, Van Higbee, Ted Frazier, Carl Goff and Curtis Merchant.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007, at the funeral home.
