Martha Jane “Marty” Head

Services for Martha Jane “Marty” Head, 56, of Jacksonville, will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bruce Webb and the Rev. Steve Edwards officiating, under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.

Mrs. Head died Thursday, March 22, 2007, in Tyler. She was born July 25, 1950, in Elkhart, Indiana.

She was an RN with Trinity Mother Frances - Jacksonville and worked with the Methodist Hospital in Houston for 27 years and built and an outpatient unit while she was there.

She attended Central Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by: her mother; Loreen Cappelletti and brother; James R. Cappelletti.

Survivors include: Husband, Geoffrey Head of Jacksonville; Father, Matthew Cappelletti of Pottstown, Penn.; Daughter and Son-in-law, Joanna Loreen and Dr. Charles Page of Nacogdoches; four grandchildren, Jacob, Jonathan, Georgeanna and Jane’Aubrey Page, all of Nacogdoches; four Brothers, Daniel “Danny” Cappelletti of Cape May, NJ; Matthew “Babe” Cappelletti of Pottstown, Penn.; George Cappelletti of Pottstown, Penn.; and John “Jack” Cappelletti of NJ; one Sister, Loretta Gauger of Pottstown, Penn.

Pallbearers include: Daniel D. Cappelletti, Matthew Cappelletti, Jr., George F. Cappelletti, John E. Cappelletti, Chuck Page and John Gauger.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, March 26, 2007, at the funeral home.

Martha was a devoted, faithful and loving wife and “Best Friend” of 36 years; a truly dedicated, inspirational, Mother, Nana and Best Friend; a godly woman of strong committed character who served and gave all that she had to be all that she could be all of her life; at home and in her nursing career. She was a person with a great spirit, sense of humor and was known for her laughter and smile. She was amazing.
