Jenevie Hyde Ellis
Jenevie Hyde Ellis, 83, went home peacefully to her Heavenly Father,
Sunday, March 18, 2007.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday at Greenwood
Memorial Park, under the direction of Greenwood Funeral Home in Fort
Worth.
Jenevie was born June 15, 1923, in Dublin, Texas to George M. Sitton and
Cora M. Sinclair Sitton. She lived most of her life in Fort Worth,
retiring from Anchor Printing Company after working there for more than
20 years. On Feb. 14, 1989, she married Earl Ellis in Jacksonville,
where she resided until her death. Jenevie was devoted to her family as
a wife, mother and grandmother. She was a community volunteer and member
of the Corinth Road Church of Christ in Jacksonville.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Legend Oaks Rehabilitation Center
of Jacksonville and the Hospice of East Texas for their special care in
recent months.
Jenevie was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband, RS
Hyde; and a brother, Robert Lee Sitton.
Survivors include Husband, Earl Ellis of Jacksonville; sons, Garry
Randal Hyde and wife, Linda of San Antonio, Jerry Ronald Hyde and wife,
Sherry of Fort Worth and Phillip Steven Hyde and wife, Judy of San
Antonio; daughter, Jennie Beth Cooley of Bedford; brother, George
Derwood Sitton of Houston; sister, Frances Adami of Fort Worth; 10
grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many cherished friends and
neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of East Texas, 4111
University Blvd., Tyler, Texas.
