Charlotte Breindel
Charlotte Breindel, formerly Charlotte Walker of Dialville, passed away
Saturday, March 11, 2007, in Pittsburgh, Penn., following a lengthy
illness.
Mrs. Breindel and her husband, Jerome, who she met at Camp Fannin in
Tyler, lived in St. Marys, Penn. They spent 12 winters in Texas at her
brother’s place near Reklaw.
They were good citizens of the community and made many friends. A 50th
wedding anniversary celebration was held for them at the Reklaw home.
Mrs. Breindel had kept in close touch with her Dialville classmates,
most still living in the East Texas area. While staying in Texas during
the winter, they attended Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in
Jacksonville.
Mrs. Breindel’s funeral services were held Tuesday, March 13, at the St.
Marys Catholic Church.
Her son, the Rev. Charles Breindel, of Newport News, Va. conducted the
funeral mass.
Mrs. Breindel is survived by her husband, Jerome; their five children,
Patti Rephart and husband Dave, Joseph Breindel and wife Joan, the
Reverend Charles Breindel, Jerry Breindel and wife Shirley, Gene
Breindel and wife Rosa; her sister, Sarah Lawler and husband John; her
brothers, Dan Walker and wife Vada and Lewis Walker and wife Ann; and
numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
