LYNDA NELSON WILHITE

Funeral for Lynda Nelson Wilhite, 68, of Jacksonville was at 2 p.m. Monday at Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Steve Edwards officiating. Burial was in Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Mrs. Wilhite died July 9.

She was born Feb. 14, 1940 in Monroe, La. to Clayton Henry and Alice Mae Cook Nelson. She served in the U.S. Air Force and was an employee of Nan Travis for 13 years and 10 years at the Allegiance Company.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kay Cruse. Survivors include husband Doug Wilhite, Jacksonville; one son and daughter in law, Danny and Dianne Wilhite, Orange; and a brother and sister-in-law, Buzzy and Janet Nelson of Downsville, La.
