 JOHNIE L. WATKINS

Graveside service for Johnie L. Watkins, 92, of Jacksonville was at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. Steve Edwards officiating.

Mrs. Watkins died June 30. She was born Sept. 13, 1915 in Jacksonville.

Mrs. Watkins was a lifelong member of Central Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Mary Bible Club, and former member of Utile Dulce Wednesday Study Club. She received her Master's Degree in education and was formerly a reading specialist in southern Texas.

Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her husband, Watty Watkins; and sister, Elizabeth Hillencamp.

Survivors include a brother John Phillip Turner of Austin; and several nieces and nephews including Kim Hillencamp, Jacksonville.

Services were under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
