BONNIE N. WARNER
 

Funeral for Bonnie N. Warner of Wells was at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Falvey Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jamie Lea and the Rev. Joe Beren officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Miss Warner died Jan. 26. She was the daughter of the late Thomas B. and Carrye Warner. She graduated from Lufkin High School, received her bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State Teachers College and did post-graduate work at Columbia University in New York. She was a longtime teacher at Wells High School, and a member of Lufkin Chapter of Order of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Nettie Warner.

Survivors include her sister, Norma W. Shamess; one niece; and one great-nephew.

Pallbearers were Ross Hicks, Blake Bailey, Kyle Hopper, Roy Joe Bailey, Don Byrd and C.W. Williams. Honorary pallbearers were John Sneed, Roy White, Larry Bailey and Pat Jordan. Memorials may be made to Falvey Memorial United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 40, Wells, 75976; or Rube Sessions Memorial Library, 298 Rusk Ave., Wells, 75976. Arrangements were under direction of Gipson Funeral Home of Lufkin.
