 LILA BERNICE (GRANNY) TODD

Funeral for Lila Bernice (Granny) Todd, 88, of Jacksonville was at 2 p.m. Sunday at Autry Funeral Home chapel with Davy Carter officiating. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Mrs. Todd died June 25. She was born Aug. 9, 1919 in Naborton, La. to the late H. T. and Blanche Hunter and had been a Jacksonville resident for the past 50 years. She retired from the Jacksonville Savings & Loan, now Franklin Bank, where she worked as a keypunch operator.

She was preceded in death by husband, Fred T. Todd; brother, Thurmond Hunter of Houston; and sister, Cleo Hunter of Jacksonville. Survivors are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerry Todd of Jacksonville and John and Christine Todd of San Mateo, Calif.; a daughter and son-in-law, Janis and Bennie Killion of Tyler; grandchildren, Mike Christopher and wife Cindi of Ponta, Tod Christopher of Ponta, Andy Christopher and wife Karen of Flint, Betsy Bass of Tyler, Leslie, Lauren and Landon Todd of San Mateo, Calif. and Ashleigh Lewis of Jacksonville; seven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and five half-brothers and half-sisters.

Pallbearers were Mike Christopher, Tod Christopher, Andy Christopher, Michael Christopher, Bill Taylor and Kurt Massing.
