MICHAEL W. (MIKE) PERRY

Funeral for Michael W. (Mike) Perry, 61, of Rusk will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 16 at Autry Funeral Home chapel with Jack Orbison officiating. Burial will be at Atoy Cemetery.

Mr. Perry died Saturday. He was born Oct. 17, 1946 in Velasco. He served in the U.S. Air Force, was a member of Reklaw Church of Christ and was formerly a TxDOT employee. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. C. and Winona Perry; sister, Carol Sue Perry; and daughter, Raina Perry. Survivors include his wife, Zina Perry of Rusk; two sons Michael Shae Perry and fiancé Missy Adams and Cody Perry and wife Chanda, all of Rusk; and three grandchildren Macey Perry, Marissa Perry and Morgan Perry, all of Rusk.

Pallbearers will be Deaton Goff, Ronnie Norton, Don Lusk, John Irwin, Jerry Akin and Alan Akin. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Akin, Butch Bowman, James Wallace, Cecil Richey and Tom Orbison.

 Funeral services for Michael W. “Mike” Perry, age 61, of Rusk are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday July 16, 2008 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville with Mr. Jack Orbison officiating. Burial will be at Atoy Cemetery. Mr. Perry died Saturday July 12, 2008 in Tyler. He was born October 17, 1946 in Velasco, TX. Mr. Perry served in the United States Air Force, was a member of Reklaw Church of Christ and was formerly a TXDOT employee. He was preceded in death by his parents W. C. and Winona Perry, sister Carol Sue Perry and daughter Raina Perry. Survivors include wife Zina Perry, Rusk; sons Michael Shae Perry and fiancé Missy Adams and Cody Perry and wife Chanda, all of Rusk; and 3 grandchildren Macey Perry, Marissa Perry and Morgan Perry, all of Rusk.
