CHRISTINE NEELEY NEWBURN

Funeral for Christine Newburn, 95, of Bullard was at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Gresham with Roy Thoene and Tom Pesnell officiating.

Burial was in Bullard Cemetery.

Mrs. Newburn died June 19. She was born July 21, 1912. Mrs. Newburn was a homemaker, a member of County Line Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Bullard.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Will and Ester Neeley; husband, Jack Newburn; son, Archie Newburn; grandson, Ed Newburn; brothers, Eugene Neeley, William Neeley and Kenneth Neeley; and two sisters, Lola Metcalf and Mary Caldwell.

Survivors are a brother, Woodrow Neeley of Flint; two sisters, Bea Cooper of Gresham and Lucille Harris of Bullard; a special nephew, George Cooper of Bullard; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces.

Pallbearers were C.J. Gullett, Andy Ford, Matt Ford, Zac Ford, Jonathan Harraid and Gina Busyman. Memorials may be made to the Gresham First Baptist Church.

Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
