DOROTHY PYLAND MCCARROLL

Funeral for Dorothy Pyland McCarroll, 94, of Jacksonville was at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Jacksonville First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Faulk Landrum officiating. Burial was in Resthaven Memorial Park at 8:30 a.m. Sunday. Mrs. McCarroll died July 1. She was born July 27, 1913 in Hillsboro to William Thomas Pyland and Jeanne Moss Pyland. Mrs. McCarroll was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Jacksonville for more than 50 years and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Jack McCarroll. Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Lammons-Dahl of Wheatridge, Colo.; a son, Hugh Jack McCarroll III of Dallas; nephews Benjamin Lammons, Duncan Lammons and Gregory Lammons, all of Colorado, Brandon McCarroll, Matthew McCarroll and Jacque McCarroll, all of Dallas, Roy Jack McCarroll of Marshall, Larry McCarroll of Jacksonville, Steve McCarroll, Scott McCarroll and Kerry McCarroll, all of Houston and Bob McCarroll of Oklahoma.

Services were under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
