Rev. James Clyde Leslie 

Rev. James Clyde Leslie, 87, of Booneville, died Sunday, May 11, 2008. Rev. and Mrs. Leslie lived in Jacksonville for two years from 1982 -83, while members of First Baptist Church, Jacksonville. Survivors include his daughter, Dorothy, and son-in-law, Dr. Greg Parsons, of Jacksonville; eight grandchildren: John Mark Parsons, Tim Parsons, Phil Parsons, Luke Parsons, Susanna Parsons, Mary Parsons, Rachel Parsons, Rebekah Parsons; and Sarah Parsons Fruge of Longview; and two great-grandchildren from East Texas, Madelyn Parsons of Jacksonville and Ryan Fruge of Longview.
