MIKE HESTERLEY

Gravesidse service for Mike Hesterley, 60, of Jacksonville was at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Mr. Hesterley died May 29. He was born Jan. 8, 1948 in Jacksonville to Louie Moses Hesterley and Alice Marie Tidwell Hesterley.

He was formerly employed with the U. S. Postal Service in Tyler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie Moses Hesterley and Alice Marie Tidwell Hesterley.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Amanda Hesterley; daughter and son-in-law, Erica and Ed Thurman; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Kent Hesterley and Steve and Cathy Hesterley, all of Jacksonville; three grandchildren; an uncle, Tracy Tidwell; an aunt, Betty Traylor; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Mr. Hesterley died Thursday, May 29, 2008 in Tyler. He was born January 8, 1948 in Jacksonville to Louie Moses Hesterley and Alice Marie Tidwell Hesterley. Mr. Hesterley was formerly employed with the U. S. Postal Service in Tyler. He was preceded in death by his parents Louie Moses Hesterley and Alice Marie Tidwell Hesterley. Survivors include son Shane Hesterley and wife Amanda; daughter, Erica Thurman and husband Ed; brothers, Kent Hesterley and Steve Hesterley and wife Cathy, all of Jacksonville; 3 grandchildren; uncle, Tracy Tidwell; aunt, Betty Traylor; and several nieces and nephews.
