Funeral for Tiffany Fort, 26, of New London, formerly of Jacksonville
and Mixon was at 10 a.m. June 6 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor
Joe Ballard and Pastor Rick Miller officiating. Burial was in Resthaven
Memorial Park.
Ms. Fort died June 1. She was born Aug. 20, 1981 in Jacksonville to Ronny and Teresa Herr Fort and was reared in Mixon. She was a 1999 graduate of Troup High School and a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church. She was an office clerk for Grace Visiting Nurses.
Survivors are her father and step-mother, Ron and Michelle Fort of Liberty; her mother and step-father, Terri and Forrest Moore of Jacksonville; son Josh Fort of Jacksonville; daughter Bethany Fort of Jacksonville; brothers and a sister-in-law, Kendall and Nikki Sides of Troup, Jeremy Sides of Jacksonville and Ronnie Fort and Dustin Fort, both of Liberty; sister Cassie Salazar of Jacksonville; grandparents Larry and Carolyn Herr of Jacksonville, Gwen and Jim Deese of Lake Striker; John Moore of Bullard, and Ed and Shirley Cox of Red Springs; great-grandmother Evelyn Leach of Overton; her fiancée, James Jones of Overton; and best friends, Tawnie and Michael Johnson and Brooke and Joe Humphries and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Pallbearers were Jeremy Smith, Michael Johnson, B. J. Pitts, Stephen Forson, Donald Smith and Frankie Guyton.
Memorials may be made in her name at Austin Bank, Jacksonville.
