CHARLES M. (CHUCK) CLEMENTS
Funeral for Charles M. (Chuck) Clements, 52, of Blue Springs, Mo. was at
2 p.m. Saturday at the Speaks Suburban Chapel with burial following in
Oak Ridge Memory Gardens in Independence, Mo.
Local relatives include a brother, sister-in-law and niece, Keith and Linda Clements and Charlotte of Rusk.
Mr. Clements died unexpected Monday, Dec. 31, at Centerpoint Medical Center in Blue Ridge. He was born June 12, 1955, in Independence to John and Bettie Adcock Clements. He was a lifelong Independence area resident, graduating from William Chrisman High School in 1973. He worked in the forklift industry for more than 30 years, most recently for Oram Material Handling in Kansas City, Kan. He enjoyed NASCAR, boating, golf and family. He married Roxann (Evon) Heitman Aug. 14, 1976. Preceding him in death was his father, John S. (Jack) Clements on Oct. 26, 2007.
Survivors are his wife, Roxann Evon Heitman Clements of Blue Springs; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jamie and Joe Wimberly of Mayview, Mo. and Christi and Brett Burge of Blue Springs, Mo.; his mother, Bettie Clements of Independence; two brothers, John Clements of Independence and Keith Clements of Rusk; two sisters, Nancy Clements of Independence and Connie Holt of Lee's Summit, Mo.; three grandchildren, Jakob, Jakson and Josie Wimberly; his mother and father-in-law, Lester and Shirley Heitman of Independence, Mo.
