SYBLE BEARDEN

Funeral for Syble Bearden, 90, of Jacksonville was at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Phillip Warren officiating. Burial was in Corine Cemetery.

Mrs. Bearden died Saturday. She was born March 18, 1918, in Dialville to Horace S. Mc- Callum and Lena L. Stephens McCallum. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and formerly worked at Marja Brassiere Co.

Preceding her in death were two sisters Faye Chitwood and Frances Chancellor and two brothers Pete McCallum and Carl McCallum.

Survivors are her husband Elvis Bearden of Jacksonville; a daughter Jennifer Bearden, of Trinity; special friend Dennis Johnson of Trinity; grandchildren Amanda Reid of Rusk and Michael Bivens of Trinity; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Johnny Chitwood, Tony Chancellor, Butch Orme, Randy Orme, Michael Bivens and Junior Loya

Burial will follow at Corine Cemetery. Mrs. Bearden died Saturday, June 21, 2008 in Jacksonville. She was born March 18, 1918 in Dialville to Horace S. McCallum and Lena L. Stephens McCallum. Mrs. Bearden was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Jacksonville and she formerly worked at Marja Brassiere Co. in Jacksonville. She is survived by husband Elvis Bearden, Jacksonville; daughter Jennifer Bearden, Trinity; special friend Dennis Johnson, Trinity; grandchildren Amanda Reid, Rusk and Michael Bivens, Trinity; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
