Dorothy Louise Simmons

Dorothy Louise Simmons, 82, daughter of Artie and Sydney Mims of New Hope, passed away at her home on Sept. 16, 2007 in Deer Park. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Bill Simmons; daughters, Cynthia Barber Carrier and Bridget Barber Doyle; brother, William Mims; brother-in-law Billy Glenn Berry; sister-in-law Betty Ruth Berry; brother-in-law Jerry Neal Barber, plus several nieces and nephews. Services for Mrs. Simmons will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 18, 2007 at Grand View Funeral home in Pasadena.
