MAGGIE LOU REYNOLDS

Funeral for Maggie Lou Reynolds, 82, of Alto, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home chapel with Ronnie Goodman officiating. Burial will be in Old Palestine Cemetery.

Mrs. Reynolds died Monday. She was born April 5, 1925, in Chireno to Archie F. and Sallie Bell Harrison Goodman. She lived in Alto most of her life and was a member of the Old Palestine Baptist Church.

For more than 20 years she worked as a nurses aid and retired as supervisor at the Lufkin State School. She worked at a dairy farm in the Linwood community with her husband for many years.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Marvin (Gip) Reynolds; four brothers, James Goodman, Leroy Goodman, Billy Goodman and Hubert Goodman.

Survivors are three brothers, Jack Goodman of Alto, Jerry Goodman of Rusk and Roy Alton Goodman of Teneha; three sisters, Nell Adams of Alto, Lee Smithhart of Nacogdoches and Ruth Ann Watson of Maydelle; a special friend, Andy Harwell of Alto; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jerry Ray Adams, Jerry Adams, Jimmy Adams, Tommy Adams, Randy Smithhart and George McClain. Other nephews were honorary pallbearers.
