DIED OF HEART DISEASE
R. A. Lackey

Mr. R. A. Lackey, age 62, a retired farmer, died Saturday
afternoon at 4:30 at his home on West Lawrence Street, following an illness of
considerable length. He had been suffering with heart disease, it is said.
Funeral services were conducted at the Williamson Funeral
Church at 2:30 Sunday afternoon by Rev. Morris A. Roberts. Burial was in
the City Cemetery.
Surviving deceased are his widow, and two adopted daughters,
Mrs. Ira Simpson and Mrs. Watson Goodson, all of this city.
