Sarah Jones 4/27/1930 -2/23/2008

 Funeral services for Sarah Jones, 77, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 10 A.M. at Autry Funeral Home Chapel, Jacksonville, with Rev. Ken McEachern presiding. Burial will be in Meador Cemetery under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Mrs. Jones died Saturday February 23, 2008 in Jacksonville.  She was born April 27, 1930 in Mixon to Marion and Nellie Buchanan and was a homemaker.  She retired from Goodyear after 17 years as an office manager.

She was preceded in death by husband of 44 years, J.C. Jones and a grandson, Michael Rawlinson.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law; Bobby & Jen Harris of Jacksonville, daughter, Sue Holman-Harris of Lake Palestine, sisters and brother-in-law; Mary Mullican of Waxahachie, Bobbie and Jimmy Paul of Frankston, Jeanie Oakley of Jacksonville, Billie Webb of Jacksonville, brothers; A.L. Buffalo of Houston, Gerald Buffalo of Idaho, Harold Buffalo of Denton, Carrol Buffalo of Ruston, LA and Louie Buffalo, Jr. of Jacksonville.

Pallbearers will be Pat Marshall, Chuck Shaw, J.B. Barringer, Dan Hester, Nathan Rutherford and Aram George.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Freddie Morris and grandsons.

Visitation with the family will be Monday, February 25, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

A very special thanks to her daughter-in-law, Jen Harris for the love, dedication, and continued care she provided.
