RICKY JONES
 

Funeral for Charles Roy (Ricky) Jones, 56, of Rusk was at 2 p.m., Sunday at the Wallace Thompson Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Don Copeland officiating. Burial was in Salem Cemetery.

Mr. Jones died July 12 in a Jacksonville hospital. He was born March 28, 1951, in Rusk, where he lived most of his life. He also lived in Winnsboro for 14 years.

He was a Baptist and a member of the Rusk Euclid Masonic Lodge No. 45 A.F. & A.M. He served in the United States Army.

Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Royce and Patricia Jones of Troup; his parents, Charles E. and Maxine Jones of Rusk; a brother, Ronnie Jones of Rusk; grandson, Lonnie Jones of Troup; two granddaughters, Jennifer Jones of Rusk and Heather Jones of Troup; two nephews, Matthew Jones of Rusk and J.J. Jones of Rusk; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers were David Westbrook, Chris Holman, Jackie Simpson, Dean Simpson, Darrell Wallace, and Dale Wallace.
