 Funeral services for Doris Jones, 85, of Dialville, are scheduled for Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church, Dialville, with Rev. Charles Swilling presiding. Burial will follow in the Rocky Springs Cemetery under the direction of Autry Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jones passed away peacefully with her children at her side, from congestive heart failure. Doris was born and raised in Dialville, Texas, along with her brother J. P. Sides. She married B. F. Jones. They had three children while residing in Texas and then moved to Tucson, Az., where they lived for most of her remaining years until moving back to Dialville a few years ago. Doris worked in a variety of jobs including school bus driver, post office worker and real estate broker. She enjoyed playing piano, dancing, and reading.  She was known for direct honesty, speaking logically and candidly when expressing herself. She required little but gave everything to the children and grandchildren that she loved unconditionally.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband: B. F. Jones.

She is survived by 2 sons and daughter-in-law: Roland Jones of Dialville, Bryan and Kim Jones of Bellingham, WA., one daughter and son-in-law: Elaine Jones and husband Paul, of Tucson, AZ., one brother and sister-in-law: J. P. Sides and wife Alice of Henderson, seven grandchildren and spouses: Dan and Carla  Baranowski, Nick and Nicole Baranowski, Emily Simon, Samantha Simon, Adelia Jones, Kelsey Jones, Jason and Danielle Jones, one great granddaughter: Morgan Jones, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Jones was born and reared in Dialville. She married B. F. Jones, and they had three children while residing in Texas and then moved to Tucson, Ariz..
