Funeral services for Bonnie Jean Howland, 68, of Jacksonville, will be held 10
a.m. Monday June 18, 2007 at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel Jacksonville with Rev.
James Morris Officiating.
Burial will be held at Earle’s Chapel Cemetery, Jacksonville, Texas
Mrs. Howland died Friday June 15, 2007 at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler. She
was born July 15, 1938 in Hattiesburg, Ms. She was a faithful member of New Hope
Baptist Church
She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Lee Howland. She is survived by
her sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry L. Howland, Jr. and his wife Lori; Scott A.
Howland and his wife Linda; daughter and son-in-law, Terry Lynn Howland and her
husband Jerry; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and
nephews.
Pallbearers include John Prewitt, Bill Duggan, Craig Garner, Larry Garner, Dale
Stolz and Ted Hunt.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Lewis, Bill Worley, George Payne and Bud
Ridgely.

Funeral for Bonnie Jean Howland, 68, of Jacksonville, was at 10 a.m.

officiating. Burial was in Earle's Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Howland died
June 15. She was born July 15, 1938, in Hattisburg, Miss. She was an
employee of Snoke's Special Products and a member of the New Hope
Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Jerry Lee Howland. Survivors are two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry L. and Lori Howland and Scott A. and Linda Howland, all of Jacksonville; a daughter, Terry Lynn Howland and Jerry of New Braunfels; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were John Prewitt, Bill Duggan, Craig Garner, Larry Garner, Dale Stolz and Ted Hunt. Honorary pallbearers were Ken Lewis, Bill Worley, George Payne and Bud Ridgely.
