JOHN CLINTON HENRY
Memorial service for John Clinton Henry, 73, of Crockett, formerly of
Maydelle, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Central Baptist Church of Crockett
with the Rev. John Goss officiating.
Mr. Henry died Sept. 23. He was born Feb. 21, 1934, outside of Maydelle to the late Clinton and Florence Henry. He attended school in Jacksonville and graduated in 1952. He served in the Army in Germany and was a carpenter. He married Norma Sue Johnson and later married Lottie Thielson. He moved back to Texas in 2000 and was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Mitchell Henry. Survivors include his wife, Lottie Henry of Crockett; a son, Gary Henry of Houston; three daughters, Lana Henry Tarrant of Lafayette, La., Laura Henry Lannie of Baytown, and Donna Henry of Germantown, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Diane Plucker; three brothers, Doyle of Mesquite, Jerry Dan of San Antonio, and Wayne of Jacksonville; seven grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Eastgate Funeral Home of Garland.
