GENE HENDERSON
Memorial service for Gene Henderson, 80, of Rusk, will be at 10 a.m.
Friday at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. David O'Neal
officiating.
Mr. Henderson died Sept. 16, 2007. He was born Feb. 7, 1927, in Bessemer, Ala. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a retired real estate broker. He was a U.S. Navy World War II veteran. Preceding him in death were his parents, Eugene Henderson Sr. and Mannia Henderson; and a brother, James Fuller Henderson.
Survivors are his wife of 64 years, Anna Henderson of Rusk; a daughter, Jo Henderson-Tussing and her husband, John, of Rusk; grandchildren, Caleb Tussing of Rusk, Matthew Green and his wife, Stephanie, of Roanoke, Va., Mark Green and his wife, Valinda, of Johnson City, Tenn., Kynan Moulton of Mount Pleasant; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Golliver of Birmingham, Ala.
Donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
Crawford-Crim-Bryan Funeral Home of Henderson was in charge of arrangements.
