LUCILLE FERRELL COLVIN GIBSON

Graveside service for Lucille Ferrell Colvin Gibson, 96, of Rusk was at 3 p.m., Thursday, in Resthaven Cemetery with the Rev. David Hicks and the Rev. Kenn Satterwhite officiating.

Mrs. Gibson died Sept. 10. She was born March 31, 1912, in Gallatin to Robert Lee and Henrietta Wilburn Ferrell. She was resident of Rusk for 11 years and formerly lived in Livingston and Houston. She was a Baptist and retired from Sears after many years of service.

Preceding her in death were her husbands, Allen Colvin and James Gibson.

She is survived by three nieces, Sue Williams of Rusk, Sharon Bowling of Rusk and Marilyn Konikoff of Houston; special friend and caretaker, Judy Philyaw of Rusk; many great-nieces and great-nephews; special neighbors and friends, Ken Smith and Houston and Freddye White, all of Rusk.

Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
