JAMES RAYMOND GEORGE
Funeral for James Raymond George, 49, of Henderson will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Dickie Allen Funeral Home chapel in Cushing with the Rev. Edward Richardson officiating. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery.
Mr. Geroge died Saturday. He was born Nov. 15, 1957, in Rusk County to Lonnie Raymond and Ruby Biggs George. He lived most of his life in Rusk County and was a Baptist. He worked on an oil rig and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a brother, Jay Deason and two nephews, Travis Wilkerson and Jerry Deason Jr. Survivors are four sisters, Wanda Myers of Longview, Debra Richardson of Ashdown, Ark. Laura Gros of Henderson and Viola Legnon of Jacksonville; two brothers, Jack Deason of Baker, La. and Jerry Deason of Henderson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Travis White, Jimmy Reeves, Mike Linthicum, Johnny Miller, Scott Bryant, Kyle Lanham, Mark Richardson and Jeremie Tennison.
