OLGA MARIA GALVAN

Funeral for Olga Maria Galvan, 49, of Jacksonville was at 10 a.m. Tuesday at The Peoples' Church with the Rev. Andy Fannette officiating. Burial was in Meador Cemetery.

Mrs. Galvan died Sept. 29. She was born Oct. 15, 1957, in Joliet, Ill. She was a homemaker and a member of The Peoples' Church.

Preceding her in death were two daughters, Anna Maria Galvan and Belen Christina Galvan; a sister, Gloria Ramirez; mother and father, Pilar Saldivar and Manuel Saldivar.

Survivors are her husband, Rafael Carlos (Sonny) Galvan Sr. of Jacksonville; four sons and two daughters-in-law, Randy and Erika Galvan, Stephen and Della Galvan, Rafael Carolos (Sonny) Galvan Jr. and Eric Galvan, all of Jacksonville; two daughters and one sonin law, Becky and Michael Sr. Nolley and Laura Galvan, all of Jacksonville; four sisters, Amelia Medina of San Antonio, Maria Bueno of Pearsall, Corina Gulermo of Chicago Heights, Ill. and Margareta Saldivar of Rockford, Ill.; three brothers, Rogelio Saldivar Sr. of Manhattan, Ill, Raul Saldivar and Arturio Saldivar, both of Joliet, Ill.; and grandchildren, Christopher Galvan, Julianna Galvan, Jared Galvan, Kalista Galvan, AnnaMaria Galvan, Carlos Galvan, Landon Galvan, Stacey Nolley, Michael Nolley Jr., all of Jacksonville.

Pallbearers were Randy Lee Galvan, Stephen Luis Galvan, Rafael Carlos (Sonny) Galvan Jr., Eric Lee Galvan, Jessie Saldivar and Rogelio Saldivar Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Johnny Fernandez, Joe Fernandez, Christopher Lee Galvan, Michael Alaric Nolley Jr., Landon Galvan, Jared Galvan, Carlos Galvan, Jessie Hernandez and Kalista (Cookie) Galvan.

Thompson Funeral Home was in charge.

O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
