William J. “Junior” Bobbitt
Services for William J. “Junior” Bobbitt, 85, of Bullard, are scheduled
for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007, at Stewart Family Funeral Home with
the Rev. C.L. Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Bullard
Cemetery.
Mr. Bobbitt died Aug. 12, 2007, at Hospice Homeplace in Tyler. He was
born Oct. 5, 1921, in Ponta, to the late William J. and Ludie Tipton
Bobbitt. He was a member of Harvest Time Church in Gresham. Mr. Bobbitt
served in the United States Army. He was a veteran of World War II and a
former member of the Disabled American Veterans. He was a self-employed
exterminator for 40 years. He and his wife, Margaret, were avid
musicians and belong to country and western bands for many years.
Visitation is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2007, at Stewart
Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy., Tyler, Texas 75703.
