EDNA NOELEENE BAXLEY
Graveside service for Edna Noeleene Baxley, 76, of Alto was at 10 a.m. Friday at the Old Palestine Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. Randy Fitzgerald and the Rev. Dick Dobbins officiating.
Mrs. Baxley died April 16. She was born Sept. 18, 1931, in Mary Port, England to William Harold and Martha Jeffries Thompson. She had lived in Alto since 1975 and was a member of the A. Frank Smith United Methodist Church. She worked for Magill's Ranch for 19 years and was a homemaker.
Survivors are three brothers, Ralph Thompson of Haslingdon, England, Jimmy Thompson of Cyprus Island and Albert Thompson of High Peak, England; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Josh Lindsey, Jim Bob Lindsey, Freddy Johnson, Cole Johnson, Harry Vanderveer and John Mines. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Downtown Bible Class, Bill Warner, Frank McClain and Alfred Danheim.
Arrangements were under the direction of O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home.
