Jerry Neal Barber

Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Neal Barber, 70, of Jacksonville are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, 2008 at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Munn and Rev. Charles Nunley officiating, under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park , Jacksonville. Mr. Barber died Aug. 15, 2008. He was born Dec. 26, 1937 in Jacksonville. Mr. Barber was employed as a contractor in the construction industry. He was preceded in death by his father Elmer Barber, mother Gertie Barber and brother Jeff Barber. He is survived by son Byron Barber of Vidor; daughters, Lisa and Mark Holton of League and Holly and Rick Salyer of Friendswood; sister Betty Ruth and Billy Berry of Jacksonville; grand children Brandy Holton Spear and husband David of League, Hailey Shea Salyer of Friendswood and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are to be Mark Holton, Rick Salyer, David Spear, Bryan Stewart, Matt Berry and Spike Morton.
