Russell Alloto

 Russell Alloto, 39, of Gahanna, Ohio and recently of Tyler and former Scioto County, Ohio resident, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at Mount Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in Portsmouth July 30, 1968 to Margherita Gleason of Friendship, Ohio. He was a 1986 graduate of Portsmouth West High School and a 1990 graduate of Morehead State University. He was a senior director of business solutions with Alliance Data of Columbus. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Christie Welty Alloto; daughters Sarah and Audrey; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joanne and Lee Jordan of Lucasville, Elizabeth and Kevin Blevins of West Portsmouth and Tina Gleason and Mike Ash of Columbus; parents-in-law, George and Janet Welty of Friendship; Robert and Roseanna Clagg of Wheelersburg; sisters-in-law, Lori of Wheelersburg, Marelle and husband Joshua Shaner of Columbus, Carey and husband Ben Eash of Columbus, Lisa and Husband Tommy Human of Friendship and Sherry Montgomery of Columbus; nieces and nephews, Nadia and husband Danny Smith of Lucasville, Kristen Arthur, Dustin Cook and Derek Arthur all of Wheelersburg, Taylor Montgomery of Columbus, Andrew, Nathan, Aaron, and Emma Blevins of West Portsmouth, Kaleb and Ethan Smith of Lucasville, Logan Jordan of Lucasville, Madi and Eash of Columbus and Sadie Smith, of Lucasville. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Portsmouth with the Rev. Dwayne McNew officiating and the internment in Friendship Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday at Melcher Funeral Home in Portsmouth. in lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the American Cancer Society.
