ADRIAN STARNES ALBRIGHT

Funeral for Adrian Starnes Albright, 83, of Jacksonville was at 2 p.m. Friday at Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Joe Ballard and the Rev. Jerry Hawbaker officiating. Burial was in Mixon Cemetery. Mr. Albright died June 17. He was born on Aug. 17, 1924 in Jacksonville to the late Frank Albright and Sarah Bell Albright.

He was Baptist, a retired mechanic and served with the U.S. Army during World War II.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank and Sarah Albright; brother Joseph Hugo Albright and sister Louise Holleman.

Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Mabel Buchanan Albright of Jacksonville; two daughters, Betty Ann Byrd of Brazoria and Ruby Pauline Nelson of Jacksonville; son, Melvin Ray Hill of Buffalo; brother, John Graves Albright of Jacksonville; several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Luther Moore, Drew Nelson, Chris Halbert, Jade Halbert, John Berryhill, Joe Massey and Dale Halbert.
