SHARLA ANN ADKISON
 

Funeral for Sharla Ann Adkison, 46, of Jacksonville was at 2 p.m. Friday, May 30, at Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Vernon Lee and the Rev. Philip Warren officiating. Burial was in Old Palestine Cemetery.

Mrs. Adkison died May 28, 2008. She was born Feb. 13, 1962 in Houston to Jerry Eugene Ainsworth and Alice Lorna Miller Ainsworth.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Jacksonville First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Adkison was preceded in death by son, Brett Springer and parents Jerry and Alice Ainsworth.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Wayne and Shelly Springer of Katy; two brothers and sisters in law, Rayford and Monica Ainsworth of Jacksonville and Roger and Traci Ainsworth of Montgomery; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Lorna and Richard Wallace of LaPorte, Jerre and John Prewitt of Jacksonville, Marylain Miller of New Caney and Dapholine Swarthout of Humble; two grandchildren, Hailey Dawn Springer and Riddic Michael Springer of Katy.

Pallbearers were Tom Jones, David Pike, Les Johnson, Joe Weaver, Johnny Guinn and Johnathan Lewis.
