Melvin Morris Levine
Funeral services for Melvin Morris Levine, age 29, of Rusk, are
scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at First Baptist Church in Rusk
with Rev. Randy Sparks and Pastor Gary Christopher officiating.
Burial will be in Salem Cemetery under the direction of Wallace-Thompson
Funeral Home in Rusk.
Mr. Levine died April 19, 2007 in a Tyler hospital.
He was born February 28, 1978 in Houston, TX to the late Harry Jacob and
Barbara Ferguson Levine. He was a Baptist. He was employed as a tool
pusher for Scan Drill, Inc. He was a lifelong resident of Rusk.
He is survived by his fiance, Julie Odom of Rusk; sister and
brother-in-law, Jennifer and David Bruce of San Antonio, TXC; four
uncles, Ronnie Levine of Bullard, Donald Ferguson of Maydelle; Michael
Ferguson of Hardcomer, TX; Steve Ferguson of Newport, TX; 10 aunts,
Florence Levine Allen of Bullard, Becky Levine of Bullard, Donna White
of Sugarland, TX, Julie Ferguson of Austin, TX, Debbie Ferguson of
Crosby, TX, Melisha Ferguson of Maydelle, Vickie Ferguson of Hancock,
TX, Debbie Ferguson of Newport, TX, Janet Sturla of Florida and many
other cousins and family.
Pallbearers will include Jeremy Grimes, Justin Duke, Ricky Whalen, Neil
Pierce, Joey Rowan, Michael Wayne Yancey, Jake Phillips and Justin
Ferguson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Scan Drill Inc., Robert Wayne Odom, Randall
Matthew Odom, Timothy Allen Glidewell, Chip Lee Tulley and Jay Thompson.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 23 at the
funeral home.
