Josephine Radetzky Lang
Services for Josephine Radetzky Lang, 93, of Jacksonville, are scheduled
for 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, at Autry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David
Hallum officiating. Burial will be in Vinson Cemetery.
Mrs. Lang died April 12, 2007, in Tyler. She was born to Frederick and
Mary Seffel Radetzky, Aug. 29, 1913 in Henderson County. She retired
from Hunts Electronics in Dallas. She and her husband William Lang moved
to Jacksonville and made this their home. She was a member of Afton
Grove Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Mary Seffel
Radetzky; her brothers, Frederick Walter and Ben Radetzky; her sister,
Mary Landry, Caroline Holmes and Gertrude Wood; her niece, Mary Green;
and her nephew, Fred Ransavall.
Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Lang of Jacksonville; her
sister, Genevieve McGee of Palestine and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Wayne Jones, Eddie Smith, Charles Dickerson, Frank
Diamont, Joe Musick and Brent Smith.
Visitation was Monday 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be
made to Afton Grove Baptist Church Building Fund.
