Gloria Hale Walding

Services for Gloria Hale Walding, 69, of Jacksonville, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Autry Funeral Home with the Rev. Jan Pate officiating. Burial will take place at Earle's Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Walding died Monday in Athens. She was born Nov. 24, 1937 in Jacksonville. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Jack and her daughter, Sheila McFarland.

Survivors her son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Tenna Walding of Jacksonville; daughters and son-in-law, Bonnie Scoggins of Athens, Donna and Guy Tadlock of Eustace; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers, Glen Hale of Whitehouse and David Hale of Rusk; sister Virginia Hammons of Jacksonville and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers include Randy Faulk, Jay Jones, Dalton Walding, Aaron Loden, Michael Tadlock, Bryan Tadlock and Guy Tadlock.

Honorary Palbearers include Glen Hale and David Hale.

Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home.

Funeral for Gloria Hale Walding, 69, of Jacksonville will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Autry Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jan Pate officiating. Burial will be in Earle's Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Walding died June 4. She was born Nov. 24, 1937, in Jacksonville. She was a retired seamstress and a Pentecostal. Preceding her in death were her husband, Jack Walding; and a daughter, Sheila McFarland. Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Tenna Walding of Jacksonville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Bonnie Scoggins of Athens and Donna and Guy Tadlock of Eustace; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Glen Hale of Whitehouse and David Hale of Rusk; a sister, Virginia Hammons of Jacksonville; and several nieces and nephews.
