Daniel George “Danny” Shaw

A gathering of family and friend for Daniel George “Danny” Shaw will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007 at Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville. Mr. Shaw passed away Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007 at a Tyler hospital. Danny was born in Tucson, Ariz. on Dec. 4, 1951 to George Washington and Florence Yeager Shaw. He worked at Federal Heath Signs as a lead man and was also a member of the IBEW Union 1151.He was preceded in death by his mother Florence Yeager Shaw. Mr. Shaw is survived by his wife, Alicia Shaw of Rusk; a son, Adam Shaw; three daughters, Maya Leanna Shaw, Alisa Green of Rusk, and Brandy Mayes of Wynona; two brothers, John William Shaw of Lovelady and Harold “Rocky” Allen Shaw of Tyler; and a sister, Cindy Shaw of Irving. Danny is also survived by three grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Published in the Jacksonville Daily Progress on 12/6/2007.
