PAULINE RAINWATER
Funeral for Pauline Rainwater, 86, of Jacksonville, was at 2 p.m.
Thursday at Autry Funeral Home chapel with Philip Strong officiating.
Burial was in Myrtle Springs Cemetery at Ponta.
Mrs. Rainwater died Dec. 18. She was born Sept. 16, 1921, in Missouri to the late James and Lilly Summers. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ in Jacksonville. Preceding her in death were her husband of 61 years, Silas Ross (S.R.) Rainwater, and two sons, Richard and Charles Rainwater.
Survivors are two sons, Roy Rainwater of Indiana, and Gene Rainwater of Missouri; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Luke Smith, Terry Brockelman, Mike Terry, Michael Terry, Shawn Smith and Jeff Hancock.

Pauline Rainwater, 86, of Jacksonville, passed from this life Dec. 18, 2007 at Gardendale nursing home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday Dec. 20, 2007 at Autry Funeral Home Chapel Jacksonville with Phillip Strong presiding. Burial will be at Myrtle Springs Cemetery, Ponta. Mrs. Rainwater was born Sept. 16, 1921 in Missouri to the late James and Lilly Summers. Pauline was also a member of the Southside Church of Christ, Jacksonville she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Silas Ross “S.R.” Rainwater; sons, Richard and Charles Rainwater. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Roy Rainwater and wife Pam of Indiana, Gene Rainwater and wife Daisy of Missouri; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and many extended family and friends who loved her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of East Texas, Tyler. Pallbearers are Luke Smith, Terry Brochelman, Mike Terry, Michael Terry, Shawn Smith and Jeff Hancock.
