DON C. PLEDGER
Don C. Pledger, 60, of Rusk son of Leon and Ethel Pledger,
died June 3. He was the last of the Pledger line. He left no survivors.
He was credited with living life on his own terms and experienced many adventures. He could be found anywhere from scuba diving off the island of Roatan to riding his motorcycle on a winding road. However, it is said he never forgot his roots. He returned to Rusk to care for his mother during her twilight years and never left again.
He requested no formal service or memorial and asked to be remembered with smiles and laughter.
