She was preceded in death by her brother Andrew Stockman, Jr.

Mrs. Pena is survived by her daughters Candace Smith of Houston and Josephine LaVerne Ramirez of Jacksonville; her mother LaVerne Stockman of Jacksonville; her brother Harvey Stockman of Edmond, Oklahoma, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
