Gloria Nell Neeley
Services for Gloria Nell Neeley, 69, of Bullard are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007, at First Baptist Church of Gresham with the Rev. Roy Thoene and the Rev. Tom Pesnell officiating. Burial will follow at Teaselville Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home. Mrs. Neeley passed away on Monday Dec. 3, 2007, at her residence. She was born on July 17, 1938 in Hamilton County to the late Willis Fredrick and Clida Cornelia Callaway Ganske. She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church of Gresham and the Busy Bee Quilt Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvie Neeley in 2004; granddaughter, Dana (Lackey) Gordon and sister, Dorothy (Ganske) Wright. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Bryan Towery of Chandler and Nancy and Jerry Crook of Flint; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Tammi Neeley of Jacksonville, Johnny Neeley of Bullard and Billy and Judy Neeley of Athens; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Barbara Ganske of Jacksonville; sister, Frances Allen of Smyrna, Ga.; special friend, Ruth Johnson of Flint, 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kenny Winston, Edwin Link, Weldon Ganske, Greg Ganske, Ricky Neeley and Larry Wright. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
