C.F. “Wimpy” Mullinix
Graveside services for C.F. “Wimpy” Mullinix, 72, of Ft. Worth, will be
2 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2007, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, with the Rev.
Benson Kennedy officiating, under the direction of Autry Funeral Home of
Jacksonville.
Mr. Mullinix died July 23, 2007, in Tyler. He was born July 18, 1935, in
Maydelle. He was an aircraft machinist with LTV of Grand Prairie and was
a Baptist. He served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his
wife, Thelma Mullinix.
Survivors include his son, Chip Mullinix of Calif.; his two grandsons,
James and David Clark; his brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Peggy
Mullinix of Jacksonville; his nieces and nephews, Sally and Gary Smith,
John and Connie McCarty, Molly and Steve Turnipseed and Elise Mullinix;
his grand-nieces and grand-nephews, Melissa Smith, Dean and Jack McCarty
and Michael Turnipseed; his step-son, Alan Clark of Hope, Ark; and his
step-daughter and spouse, Kay and Tom Wimmer of Fairmont, Ind.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2007, at the funeral
home.
