Judge Williard Mosley
Services for Judge Williard Mosley, 82, of Dallas, formerly of Jacksonville, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at Pennel Chapel C.M.E. Church in Jacksonville, with the Rev. Tommy Starks officiating, under the direction of Williams Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Mr. Mosley died Dec. 7, 2007, in Dallas. He was born Dec. 12, 1924, in Jacksonville. He attended Pine Grove Public School, and was a member of Pennel Chapel C.M.E. Church. He was an Army veteran who served during World War II. Survivors include his daughter, Lu-Verl Davis and husband Harry of Dallas; his grandsons, Victor, Vincent and Van of Dallas; his aunt, Rosella Landon of Dallas; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Pallbearers include, Gerald Porter, Justin Jones, Kirby Jones Jr., Lester Dennis, Cornell Boseman and Marcowenton Dennis. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at the funeral home.
