JANEY MOORE
Graveside service for Janey Moore, 90, of Alto, formerly of Tyler will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Alto City Cemetery under the direction of O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home.
Mrs. Moore died Sunday (April 29, 2007). She was born July 10, 1916, in Alto, to Daniel Benjamin and Ella Watters Singletary. She was a Methodist and had been a school teacher for 42 years. She taught school throughout East Texas and spent the last 20 years of her career in Tyler. She was preceded in death by her husbands, A.G. Oliphint and E.E. Moore; and a brother, D.B. Singletary.
Survivors are three sons, Albert W. Oliphint of Alto, Charles R. Oliphint of Tyler and Harold T. Oliphint of Austin; a daughter, Erma Bartee of Lake Jackson; a sister, Doris Hartman of Alto; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
