Loretta Jean Plummer Hughes

A memorial service for Loretta Jean Plummer Hughes, 55, Tyler, was held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 15, 2007 at First Baptist Church of Owentown with Rev. James Tatum officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home. Mrs. Hughes passed away on Friday, July 13, 2007 in Longview.

Mrs. Hughes was born on February 24, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri, to the late Joseph David and Norma Jean Banks Hennessey. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Owentown and was an artist and enjoyed painting dolls and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Mickey and Tern Hennessey and daughter LaDonna Michelle Wilkins.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hughes of Tyler, sons Scott Plummer of Tyler, Robert Simons and his wife Renee of Dayton, Jesse Plummer and his wife Jessica of Columbia, TN and Roy Plummer of Baytown; daughter Andrea Plummer of Baytown, sister Sheila Funderburk of Sulphur Springs, brothers Pat and Tommy Hennessey of Jacksonville, grandson Blake Simons and many loving nieces and nephews.
