Graveside service for Lula A. Hinton-Robinson, 55, Jacksonville, was at 3 p.m. Saturday at Larissa Cemetery, south of Bullard, with the Rev. Julius Session and the Rev. James Fuller officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Community Funeral Home.
Mrs. Robinson died April 10, 2007. She was born June 6, 1951, in Cherokee County and was a lifelong resident. She attended Fred Douglass High School, was a private care provider and a member of Larissa CME Church. She was preceded in death by son, Frenchell Baxter Jr., and father, Henry Hinton Sr.
Survivors include a son, Darron Baxter of Jacksonville; daughter, Tamara Robinson of Dallas; mother, Ezell Hinton Tilley of Jacksonville; five brothers, the Rev. John R. Hinton of Tyler, the Rev. Billy Hinton of Overton, Leon Hinton and Henry Hinton, both of Jacksonville, and Bobby Hinton of Newllano, La.; three sisters, Polly Christopher of Rusk, Susan Sanders of Chandler, and Mary Ann Hinton of Dallas; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Amery Lucas, Stacy Hunter, Alvin Bell, Victor Wallace, DeWayne Hollis and Isaac Battle. Honorary pallbearers were Frenchell Baxter Sr., Jerome Baxter and Ray Christopher.
